Do I need WooCommerce to sell memberships?
No. Ultimate Membership Pro has its own checkout with 10 payment gateways, 13 with Full Package. WooCommerce is an option for stores that want to sell Memberships as products.
Which payment gateways work with WooCommerce?
Any gateway your WooCommerce store accepts. The Membership is sold as a regular WooCommerce product, so it goes through your usual checkout.
When does the customer get the Membership?
When the WooCommerce order that includes the product is marked as completed. The customer has to be logged in or create an account during checkout.
Do Memberships sold through WooCommerce renew automatically?
No. Ultimate Membership Pro sends reminder emails so members can buy the next period. For automatic recurring billing, sell the Membership through the built-in checkout.
Can members get discounts on store products?
Yes. Give one or more Memberships a percentage or flat discount on all products, chosen categories or specific products, for the dates you set.
Can I restrict products to members?
Yes. Lock single products, product categories or store pages like the shop and cart, and send everyone else to a page you choose.
Can members see their Membership in My Account?
Yes. Turn on the My Account integration and a new menu link, with the name and position you choose, opens the member’s Ultimate Membership Pro account page.
