Which payment gateways can I use?
Every plan includes PayPal, PayPal Express Checkout, Stripe Checkout, Stripe Connect, Braintree, Mollie, Authorize.Net, 2Checkout, PagSeguro and bank transfer. Full Package adds PayFast, Paystack and Razorpay with recurring payments.
Do renewals happen automatically?
Yes. With the built-in gateways, members are charged automatically every period. Bank transfer payments are confirmed by you, and Memberships sold through WooCommerce renew with reminder emails instead of automatic charges.
Can I offer a free trial?
Yes. Add a trial to any Membership, free or at a lower price, for a set period or for a number of billing cycles. A few gateways, including PayFast, Paystack and Razorpay, don’t support trials.
Can members upgrade or cancel on their own?
Yes. Members renew or cancel from their account page, and upgrades and downgrades can be billed with proration.
Can I charge taxes or VAT?
Yes. Set a default tax or specific rates by country and state, and choose whether your prices include tax or have it added at checkout.
Can I sell in more than one currency?
Each site charges in one main currency. You can add custom currencies with their own name and symbol and choose the one your site uses.
Is there a limit on plans or members?
No. Every plan includes unlimited Memberships, members and payments.
Can I build my own subscription plans page?
Yes. Add the subscription plan shortcode to any page and pick a template, or show only the Memberships you want. You can also design your own pricing table and use each Membership’s buy link.
Can a member have more than one subscription?
Yes. Members can hold several Memberships at the same time. If some plans shouldn’t be combined, Memberships Plus limits what each member is offered, based on what they already have.
What happens when a member’s card expires?
With Stripe Connect, members get a reminder before their card expires and can change it from their account page. If access lapses, a grace period gives them time to renew.
