Ultimate Membership Pro locks pages, not podcast feeds

Here’s exactly where the plugin stops and your podcast host takes over.

What it does and doesn’t do with podcasts

It doesn’t host or stream audio, and it doesn’t create private feeds for Apple Podcasts, Spotify or other podcast apps. Members listen on your site. It controls who can open the page. A direct link to the audio file on your host is protected only by your host’s own settings. Ad-free or bonus versions are files you produce. The plugin doesn’t remove ads. Member RSS (Full Package) shares post previews and links, not audio. Pay per post, Restriction Release and group accounts need Full Package. Everything else on this page works on every plan.

Does Ultimate Membership Pro host my podcast?

No. Keep your audio on your podcast or media host and embed its player in WordPress posts. Ultimate Membership Pro locks those posts for the Memberships you choose.

Can members listen in Apple Podcasts or Spotify?

Not through Ultimate Membership Pro. It doesn’t create private podcast feeds. Members log in and listen on your site.

What is a podcast membership?

Listeners pay a recurring fee for extras such as bonus episodes, early access or ad-free versions. On WordPress, you lock those episode pages so only paying members can open them.

Can I give members early access?

Yes. Lock the episode for your Memberships, and Restriction Release (Full Package) makes it public on the date you set.

Can I offer a free trial?

Yes. A recurring Membership can start with a free or paid trial. Trials are documented for Stripe Connect. PayFast, Paystack and Razorpay don’t support them, so check the docs before you use another gateway.

What happens when a member cancels?

Only active Memberships unlock content. When a Membership ends, its episode pages lock again.
