Set up drip content in four steps

Set it once on each page or post. Every member gets it on their own schedule.

1Open the page or postFind the Ultimate Membership Pro – Locker panel in the editor.

2Choose who gets accessPick registered users or one or more Memberships.

3Turn on Drip ContentPick when it opens: right away, after a number of days, weeks or months, or on a date.

4Set when it closesChoose never, after a period or on a date. Switch on Drip Content Notifications to email members.

What to know before you set a schedule

Straight answers, so you can plan your schedule before you build it.

Drip content in Ultimate Membership Pro

You set drip on each page or post, in the Locker panel. There’s no schedule for a whole category. Timing is in days, weeks or months after a member subscribes, or on a fixed date. Only active Memberships unlock content. When a Membership ends, its pages lock again. Unlock emails need Drip Content Notifications switched on. It’s included in every plan. Restriction Hold, Restriction Release, Restrict Past Content and Divi section drip need Full Package. Everything else on this page works on every plan.

What is drip content?

Content that opens on a schedule instead of all at once. In Ultimate Membership Pro, each page or post can open right away, some time after a member joins, or on a date. Read more about the benefits of drip content.

Can I drip content by Membership?

Yes. Select the Memberships in the Locker panel, then set the schedule. It applies to every Membership you selected.

Do members get an email when content unlocks?

Yes, with Drip Content Notifications, included in every plan. Switch it on under Extensions in your Ultimate Membership Pro dashboard.

Can dripped content expire?

Yes. Close it after a period or on a date. It also locks again when a member’s Membership ends.

Will new members see older content?

Only if you allow it. Restrict Past Content (Full Package and Agency) limits new members to content published after they joined.

Which plans include drip content?

Every plan: Pro, Full Package and Agency. Full Package and Agency add Restriction Hold, Restriction Release, Restrict Past Content and Divi section drip.
