Pay per Post
Sometimes one guide, article or workshop recording is worth paying for on its own, but asking people to buy a whole Membership for it loses the sale. Pay Per Post lets you sell single posts and pages in Ultimate Membership Pro: you put a one-time price on the post, and visitors pay once to read it.
Your Memberships keep working as before, and Memberships that already had access to the post keep it.
Sell single posts and pages for a one-time price
- Price it in the editor. A Pay per Post box below the content of posts, pages and other post types takes the price, in your site currency.
- Choose what visitors see. Show your own text with a buy button, send visitors to a page you pick, or send members straight to checkout and new visitors to your registration page.
- Buy button and buy link. Two shortcodes add a Get Access Now button or a buy link anywhere in that text, with a label you choose.
- Show the price. The {price} tag prints the post’s price with your currency, so the offer is clear.
- Access that doesn’t expire. The buyer pays once and keeps the post.
- Every sold post in one list. A Restricted Posts table shows each post you sell with its price, plus Edit and Delete.
How Pay Per Post works
- Switch on the add-on in Ultimate Membership Pro.
- Open a post or page, enter a price and choose what visitors see before they buy.
- Update the post. Ultimate Membership Pro creates a one-time Membership for it, named after the post, and shows the post to its buyers, plus any Memberships you already allowed on it.
- Visitors click the buy button, pay on your Checkout page, and the post opens in full.
Buyers pay with the payment gateway you already connected. Step-by-step setup is in the Pay Per Post guide.
When selling single posts makes sense
- One-off guides and recordings. A long guide or a workshop recording that people want without joining.
- Extra sales next to your Memberships. Readers who aren’t ready to subscribe can still buy the one article they came for.
- A first purchase. When a post is set to redirect to checkout, a visitor who isn’t logged in is sent to your registration page with the post selected, so they get an account with their purchase.
For example, a coaching club can sell its goal-setting guide for $9 to people who aren’t members. Visitors see the price and a Buy the guide button. After paying $9, they open the guide.
Works well with
- WordPress paywall, to put the rest of your premium content behind Memberships.
- Payment gateways, to take the one-time payment with the gateway you prefer.
- Limited Subscriptions, to stop offering a Membership after a set number of sign-ups.

Which plans include Pay Per Post?
Pay Per Post comes with the Full Package and Agency plans, together with all 46 Pro add-ons. The Pro plan doesn’t include Pro add-ons.

No. They pay once for the post, with no recurring plan involved. Ultimate Membership Pro handles the access with a one-time Membership it creates for that post.
What do visitors see before they pay?
The option you chose for the post: your replacement text with the price and a buy button, a redirect to a page you choose, or a redirect to checkout, with visitors who aren’t logged in sent to your registration page with the post selected.
Can I sell pages and other post types?
Yes. The Pay per Post box appears on posts, pages and your other post types.
How long does a buyer keep access?
For good. The post’s Membership is a one-time payment with access that doesn’t expire.
