A WordPress paywall for your premium content
Show the start of an article, lock the rest and let readers choose how to get in: a free account, a paid Membership, or both.
Readers pay for things they can’t get anywhere else: a clear point of view, data they can use and a writer they trust.

In this issue we look at the three kinds of content readers renewed for most often, and why price mattered less than we expected.

Questions about the paywall
Not sure your setup is covered? Search the documentation or try the live demo before you buy.
Can I show part of an article to everyone?
Yes. Wrap the part you want to keep for members in an Inside Locker, with the shortcode or the Gutenberg block. Everyone sees the rest of the post.
Can readers unlock articles with a free account?
Yes. Lock content for registered readers, or create a free Membership, so signing up is enough to read it.
What do readers see when a post is locked?
Your own message in the locker, with or without a login form. For whole posts, you can also send them to a page you choose.
Can I limit how many posts each Membership can read?
Yes. Set a number of post views for each Membership, or leave it blank for no limit. Limits apply to signed-in members.
Can I sell a single article?
Yes, with Full Package and Agency. Pay per post puts a one-time price on a post or page, with no subscription needed.
Can new members read my whole archive?
Yes, by default. With Full Package, you can show new members only the posts published after they joined.
Does it work with my page builder?
Inside Locker works in the block editor and with shortcodes. With Full Package, you can also lock Elementor widgets and Divi sections.
