Set it up in four steps

You need a WordPress Multisite network. Everything else is in your dashboard.

1Switch it onTurn on MultiSite Subscriptions in your Ultimate Membership Pro dashboard.

Before you start

A few things to plan for.

Multisite subscriptions
It needs WordPress Multisite. On a single site, the option has nothing to create. Sites are deactivated when a Membership expires, never deleted, and they come back on renewal. Each eligible Membership gives one site. Included in every plan.

Do I need WordPress Multisite?

Yes. Members’ sites are created as subsites on your WordPress Multisite network.

Who can create a site?

Members of the Memberships you choose. They create it from the User Sites tab in their account page.

What happens to the site when a Membership expires?

The site is deactivated, not deleted. It’s active again when the member renews.

Can a member have more than one site?

Yes, one for each eligible Membership they hold.

Is the member an administrator of their site?

Yes. The member who creates the site becomes its administrator.

Which plan includes it?

Every plan. MultiSite Subscriptions is one of the add-ons included with Ultimate Membership Pro.
