Member RSS

Members who pay for your content like to have it in one place. Member RSS gives each member a private member RSS feed link in their Member Portal. The feed lists the posts and pages their active Memberships unlock, with the title, the full content, the featured image, the date and the author.

Each link belongs to one member, so the feed follows that member’s active Memberships.

A member RSS feed for every member

• A link in the Member Portal. Switching the add-on on adds an RSS tab to the Member Portal, with the member’s personal link in it.
• Follows their Memberships. The feed lists the posts and pages locked for the member’s active Memberships, using the same rules as your members’ library list.
• Full posts, not teasers. Each entry carries the ID, title, content, featured image, date and author.
• Reset in one click. Members create a new link at any time with Reset Link, and the previous one is replaced.
• Your words on the tab. Change the tab label and icon, and add a title and intro text. Shortcodes work in the text.
• Opens directly. The link returns the feed with no login, so members can pull their content into other tools.

How Member RSS works

1. Switch on the add-on. The RSS tab appears in the Member Portal.
2. Change the tab label, title and text if you like.
3. Members open the tab and copy their personal link.
4. Opening the link returns the posts and pages their Memberships unlock.

When a personal feed helps

• Lesson and course libraries. A Pro Monthly member’s feed lists the lessons locked for Pro Monthly.
• Several Memberships, one link. A member who holds more than one Membership gets everything those Memberships unlock in the same feed.
• Free and paid tiers. A Free Community member also gets a link, with only the posts that Membership unlocks.

For example, a coaching club locks its weekly lessons for Pro Monthly and titles the tab Your Coaching Club feed. Each Pro Monthly member copies the link once and finds every lesson in it, from Week 1 on.

Questions about Member RSS

Which plans include Member RSS?

Member RSS comes with the Full Package and Agency plans, together with all 46 Pro add-ons. The Pro plan doesn’t include Pro add-ons.

Which posts appear in a member’s feed?

The posts and pages locked for one of the member’s active Memberships. It follows the same rules as the list of posts a member can access.

Where do members find their feed link?

In the RSS tab of their Member Portal. They log in once to copy it, and the link then opens the feed directly.

What if a member shares their link by mistake?

The member opens the RSS tab and clicks Reset Link. They get a new link, and the previous one is replaced.

Can I change what the RSS tab says?

Yes. You can change the menu label and icon, and add a title and your own text above the link.
