When people log in through the WooCommerce login form, WooCommerce sends them to its own account dashboard, not to the membership area you built. WooCommerce Redirect takes over the WooCommerce login redirect: everyone who logs in with the WooCommerce form lands on your Ultimate Membership Pro After Login page instead, such as your Member Portal.

There is nothing new to set up. The add-on uses the After Login page you already chose in Ultimate Membership Pro, so the WooCommerce form follows the page you already use.

WooCommerce login redirect to your membership pages

• In line with your login form. Members who sign in with the WooCommerce form go to the same After Login page as the Ultimate Membership Pro login form.
• The page you choose. The destination is your After Login page, so it can be the Member Portal, a welcome page or any other page of your site.
• One setting to manage. Change the After Login page once and WooCommerce logins follow it.
• A single switch. Turn the add-on on and the redirect applies to the WooCommerce login form right away.

How WooCommerce Redirect works

1. Switch on WooCommerce Redirect in Ultimate Membership Pro.
2. Choose your After Login page in the Ultimate Membership Pro page settings, for example your Member Portal page.
3. A member logs in with the WooCommerce login form, for example on the My Account page.
4. They land on your After Login page.

When a WooCommerce login redirect helps

• Shops that also sell Memberships. A customer who logs in to check an order still lands in the Member Portal, where their Memberships are.
• Themes that use the WooCommerce login. If your header links to the WooCommerce My Account page for logins, members still reach your membership area.
• Memberships sold at the WooCommerce checkout. Members who bought through WooCommerce and log in there go straight to their member content.

For example, a coaching club sets After Login to its Member Portal page. A member who logs in from the WooCommerce My Account page sees their Memberships, not the WooCommerce dashboard.
