Mailster Pro

Your Mailster campaigns are only as good as the lists behind them. Mailster Pro builds Mailster membership lists for you: each Membership gets its own list, members are added when the Membership starts and taken off when it ends.

The built-in Opt-In of Ultimate Membership Pro can send new sign-ups to one Mailster list. Mailster Pro follows the Membership each person holds, so your campaigns go to the people who still hold it.

Mailster membership lists, matched to your Memberships

• A list per Membership. Choose a Mailster list for each Membership, or let it use your Default List.
• Added when a Membership starts. Each time a Membership is activated, the member is saved in its list with their email address, first name and last name.
• Existing subscribers kept. A person who is already in Mailster is added to the list and keeps their subscriber record.
• Clear source. New subscribers are created with the status Subscribed, with Ultimate Membership Pro recorded as where they came from.
• Taken off when it ends. When a Membership expires or is deleted, the member leaves its list. The subscriber stays in Mailster.
• New sign-ups too. Choose Mailster Pro as the Opt-In service on the registration form and new registrations join the Default List.

How Mailster Pro works

1. Install Mailster on the same site and create your lists.
2. Switch on the add-on in Ultimate Membership Pro. Your lists appear right away, with nothing to connect.
3. Choose a Default List and a list for each Membership.
4. Members join and leave lists as their Memberships start and end.

When a list per Membership helps

• A campaign for one Membership. Give that Membership its own list, then send your Mailster campaign to that list.
• Free and paid members apart. Free members stay on your general newsletter, paid Memberships get lists of their own.
• Members with several Memberships. Give each Membership a list and the member is saved in each one they hold.

For example, a coaching club keeps Coaching Club Newsletter as the Default List, with Pro Members for Pro Monthly and Annual Pass Members for Annual Pass. A member whose Annual Pass ends leaves the Annual Pass Members list.

Works well with

• Email marketing integrations, the built-in Opt-In sign-up options, such as Mailchimp.
• Delete My Account, so members who delete their own account are unsubscribed in Mailster.

Which plans include Mailster Pro?

Mailster Pro comes with the Full Package and Agency plans, together with all 46 Pro add-ons. The Pro plan doesn’t include Pro add-ons.

What is the difference between Mailster (MyMail) and Mailster Pro in the Opt-In services?

Mailster (MyMail) is the built-in option: one list, filled when a member registers. Mailster Pro is the add-on: a Default List plus a list for each Membership, filled on registration and whenever a Membership is activated, and cleaned when a Membership ends.

What do I need to use Mailster Pro?

The Mailster newsletter plugin installed and active on the same site, with at least one list, and your Memberships.

What happens to a person who is already a Mailster subscriber?

They are added to the list. Their existing subscriber record is kept.

What happens when a member deletes their account?

The subscriber is unsubscribed in Mailster.
