RazorPay Pro Payment Gateway

A monthly or yearly Membership needs a gateway that charges again on schedule. Razorpay Pro adds Razorpay recurring payments to Ultimate Membership Pro: the member subscribes once on a Razorpay page, and every renewal charge extends their Membership on its own.

It takes one-time payments too, so your lifetime and recurring Memberships run through the same Razorpay account.

Razorpay recurring payments, set up for you

• No plans to build by hand. The first time someone buys a recurring Membership, Razorpay Pro creates the plan and the subscription in your Razorpay account, and reuses the plan after that.
• Flexible billing cycles. Bill every 7 to 90 days, 1 to 52 weeks, 1 to 24 months or 1 to 15 years.
• Every renewal on record. The first charge activates the Membership. Each later charge adds a renewal order and extends it.
• A set number of payments. Sell a plan that runs for a fixed number of payments, from 2 to 52.
• Members cancel from their portal. A member can cancel from the Member Portal, and the subscription is cancelled in Razorpay too.
• One-time payments as well. Lifetime and fixed-length Memberships still go through Razorpay payment links, and coupons apply to them.

How Razorpay Pro works

1. Activate Razorpay Pro next to the Razorpay add-on. They share one settings screen and one set of API keys.
2. Add the webhook in your Razorpay Dashboard, including the subscription events listed on the settings screen.
3. Set a Membership to Recurring Subscription and choose its billing cycle.
4. The member subscribes on the Razorpay page, and each charge renews their Membership.

Who Razorpay Pro is for

• Monthly memberships. Communities, coaching and content clubs that bill every month.
• Weekly programs. Classes or training plans billed every week.
• Annual plans. Yearly access, charged once a year through Razorpay.
• Payment plans. A program paid in a fixed number of installments, such as six monthly payments.

For example, a coaching club can sell Pro Monthly as a Recurring Subscription billed every month. Razorpay Pro creates the plan in Razorpay at the first purchase, and every monthly charge extends the member’s access.

Which plans include Razorpay Pro?

Razorpay Pro comes with the Full Package and Agency plans, together with all 46 Pro add-ons. The Pro plan doesn’t include Pro add-ons.

Do I need the Razorpay add-on too?

Yes. Razorpay Pro builds on the Razorpay add-on and uses its settings screen and connection, so keep both active. Activating Razorpay Pro switches the Razorpay add-on on if it’s installed.

Do I have to create plans in Razorpay?

No need. Razorpay Pro creates the plan in your Razorpay account the first time someone buys the Membership, and reuses it afterwards.

Can members cancel a Razorpay subscription themselves?

Yes. Members cancel from the Member Portal, and the subscription is cancelled in Razorpay too.

Which billing cycles can I use?

Every 7 to 90 days, 1 to 52 weeks, 1 to 24 months or 1 to 15 years. You set the cycle on the Membership.
