Divi Content Locker
Most Divi pages mix public content with parts that belong to paying members. Divi Content Locker adds Divi content restriction to the builder itself: you lock Divi sections, rows and columns by Membership, and each visitor sees only the parts meant for them.
It works in both the Divi 4 and the Divi 5 builder. People without access see nothing in that spot, or a message you write. You can also open a locked part on a schedule, the way Drip Content opens pages.
Divi content restriction, section by section
- Show only for, or hide only for. Choose the people who see an element, or the people who don’t while everyone else does.
- Memberships, members or visitors. Tick any of your Memberships, Registered Users or Unregistered Users. Several ticks are allowed, and one match is enough.
- Sections, rows and columns. The locker sits on Divi’s layout elements, including groups in Divi 5, so you can lock a whole block of modules at once.
- A message instead of a gap. Replace locked content with your own text, such as an invitation to upgrade, or remove it from the page.
- Drip content for parts of a page. Open an element when the Membership starts, after a number of days, weeks or months, or on a date, and close it again later if you want.
- Divi 4 and Divi 5. Pages you convert from Divi 4 to Divi 5 keep their locker settings.
How Divi Content Locker works
- Switch on the add-on in Ultimate Membership Pro.
- In the Divi builder, open the settings of a section, row or column and find the Ultimate Membership Pro locker.
- Turn the locker on, choose show or hide, and tick who it applies to.
- Pick what people without access see, add a release schedule if you need one, and save the page.
Step-by-step setup is in the Divi Content Locker guide.
When locking Divi sections pays off
- Member rows on public pages. Keep the home page open to everyone and show the live sessions row only to paying Memberships, with a short message for everyone else.
- Join prompts for visitors. Show a join row to unregistered users only, so members don’t see a sign-up offer they already took.
- Course pages that open week by week. Lock a workbook section and release it a set number of days after the member joins.
For example, a coaching club home page can show a join row to visitors only, show the live sessions row to Pro Monthly and Annual Pass members with the message “Live sessions are for Pro Monthly and Annual Pass members” for everyone else, and open the Week 2 workbook section seven days after a Pro Monthly member joins.
Works well with
- Divi integration, the overview of running Ultimate Membership Pro on a Divi site.
- Drip content, to release whole pages and posts on a schedule.
- Hidden HTML Elements, to hide any element by CSS class or ID.
