Granted Access

Some people should see your members-only content without creating an account: your office, a school or a partner company. Granted Access lets you grant access by IP address. Visitors who connect from an address on your white list open restricted pages and partly restricted content in Ultimate Membership Pro, with no login and no Membership.

Your access rules stay as they are. The add-on only lets listed addresses through, and everyone else still needs the right Membership.

Grant access by IP to restricted pages and content

• No login needed. Visitors from a listed address open restricted content straight away, logged in or not.
• Pages and parts of pages. It works for restricted pages and for content hidden with an Inside Locker.
• Single addresses or ranges. List exact addresses, or end one with * to allow a whole range, such as 198.51.100.*.
• Rules stay untouched. Your Access Rules don’t change, so visitors from other addresses see your restrictions as usual.
• Remove to revoke. Take an address off the list and its visitors see your restrictions again.

How Granted Access works

1. Switch on the add-on in Ultimate Membership Pro.
2. Type the public IP addresses of the networks you trust, separated by commas.
3. Save your changes.
4. Visitors from those addresses open your restricted pages, while everyone else sees your restrictions as usual.

Who IP-based access is for

• An office or team network. Your staff read members-only pages from the office without separate accounts.
• A partner school or company. People on the partner’s network open your course pages with no sign-up.
• Fixed connections you trust. List addresses that don’t change, such as an office line or a server. A search for “what is my IP” on that network shows its public address.

For example, a coaching club adds a partner school’s address, 203.0.113.25, and the range 198.51.100.*. People on the partner’s network open the Pro workshop pages with no account. Everyone else still needs Pro Monthly.

Which plans include Granted Access?

Granted Access comes with the Full Package and Agency plans, together with all 46 Pro add-ons. The Pro plan doesn’t include Pro add-ons.

What does a visitor from a listed address see?

The restricted page itself, with no login and no Membership. Visitors from other addresses still see your restrictions as usual.

How do I allow a whole range of addresses?

End the address with a star, for example 198.51.100.*. Every address that starts with 198.51.100 gets access.

Which IP address should I add?

The public address your site sees, such as the one an office connection uses. A search for “what is my IP” on that network shows it.

Does it change my access rules?
