Paystack Pro Payment Gateway

A monthly Membership needs a gateway that charges members again on schedule. Paystack Pro adds Paystack recurring payments to Ultimate Membership Pro: the member subscribes once on a Paystack page, and every renewal charge extends their Membership.

It takes one-time payments too, so your lifetime and recurring Memberships run through the same Paystack account, in NGN, GHS or ZAR.

Paystack recurring payments without building plans

• Plans created for you. The first time someone buys a recurring Membership, Ultimate Membership Pro creates the plan in Paystack, named after the Membership.
• Daily, weekly or monthly. Charge members every day, every week or every month.
• Ongoing or fixed. Keep the subscription running with no set end, or stop it after 2 to 52 payments.
• Renewals extend access. Each renewal charge adds a new order and extends the Membership.
• Coupons on both kinds of payment. Coupon codes apply to one-time and recurring payments.
• One-time payments as well. Lifetime and fixed-length Memberships still go through Paystack.

How Paystack Pro works

1. Activate Paystack Pro next to the Paystack add-on. They share one settings screen and one Secret Key.
2. Add your site’s webhook URL in your Paystack account, under API Keys and Webhooks.
3. Set a Membership to Recurring Subscription with a cycle of 1 day, 1 week or 1 month.
4. Members subscribe on Paystack, and every successful charge renews their Membership.

Who Paystack Pro is for

• Monthly Memberships. Communities, coaching and content clubs that bill every month.
• Weekly programs. Classes or training plans charged every week.
• Payment plans. A program paid in a fixed number of installments, such as six monthly payments.

For example, a coaching club in Nigeria can sell Pro Monthly as a Recurring Subscription charged every month in NGN, with no set end. The plan is created in Paystack at the first purchase, and each monthly charge extends the member’s access.

Paystack Pro comes with the Full Package and Agency plans, together with all 46 Pro add-ons. The Pro plan doesn’t include Pro add-ons.

Yes. Paystack Pro builds on the Paystack add-on and uses its settings screen and connection, so keep both active.

Do I have to create plans in Paystack?

No need. Ultimate Membership Pro creates the plan in Paystack the first time someone buys the Membership, and reuses it after that.

Which billing cycles can I use?

Every day, every week or every month. Set the Membership’s Subscription Cycle to 1 Days, 1 Weeks or 1 Months.

Which currency are members charged in?
