In Ultimate Membership Pro, the Individual Member Page module creates a private WordPress page for every member. Only the member and administrators can open it. Coaches, consultants and course creators use it for one page per client: a plan, notes, files.
This guide sets up the module, creates pages for existing members and links members to their page.
Before you start
- Your license is active; modules need it. See Find and activate your license key.
Set up the module
- Go to Ultimate Membership Pro›Modules and open Individual Member Page (in Members & Registration).
- Switch on Activate/Hold Individual Page and fill in the settings below.
![Individual Page settings: Activate/Hold Individual Page on, Parent Page, Page Title Prefix IUMP Individual Page: {username}, Page Slug Prefix iump_individual_page_, Default Content editor with Your coaching plan text, Build Users Pages button and the [ihc-individual-page-link] shortcode](https://ultimatemembershippro.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/ump-individual-page-11-individual-page.png)
Create the pages under a parent page, for example Clients. “…” makes them top-level pages.
Default: …
The page title. Tags such as {username} or {first_name} are replaced with the member’s details.
Default: IUMP Individual Page: {username}
The start of the page address; the username is added after it.
Default: iump_individual_page_
What every new page contains. Add member shortcodes such as [ihc-user field="first_name"] from the Shortcodes screen.
- Click Save Changes.
Create pages for existing members
From now on, a page is created when someone registers. For members who already exist, and for members you add or import, click Build Users Pages. It creates pages only for members who don’t have one yet.
Link members to their page
Add the shortcode where members will look for it, for example in the Dashboard tab of the Member Portal:
A link to the logged-in member’s page
[ihc-individual-page-link]
It shows an Individual Page link. Administrators open any member’s page from Ultimate Membership Pro›Members › Details › Individual Page.
Write on a member’s page
The pages are ordinary WordPress pages. Find them in Pages›All Pages and edit them like any page to add notes, files or videos for that member.
Good to know
- Anyone else who opens the page, including other members, is sent to the Default Redirect Page, or to the homepage if none is set.
- Changing the Default Content later doesn’t update pages that already exist.
Example: client plans
- Parent Page
- Client Plans
- Page Title Prefix
- Coaching plan: {first_name} {last_name}
- Page Slug Prefix
- plan_
- Default Content
- Your coaching plan, Hi [ihc-user field=”first_name”]…
- Link
- [ihc-individual-page-link] in the Dashboard tab
Troubleshooting
Why doesn’t a member have an individual page?
Pages are created when someone registers. Members you add in the admin or import don’t get one until you click Build Users Pages.
Why does [ihc-individual-page-link] show nothing?
The shortcode only shows a link to a logged-in member who already has an individual page.
Why is a member redirected away from their own individual page?
They aren’t logged in with the account the page belongs to. Anyone else is sent to the Default Redirect Page.
