Ultimate Membership Pro is a membership plugin that works with your page builder. You design pages the way you always do, then add the membership parts (registration, login, pricing, checkout, the Member Portal) and choose who can see each page or section.
This guide shows the best way to do that for each builder, from the native Elementor widgets to shortcodes in Bricks or WPBakery.

Elementor
Ultimate Membership Pro adds its own Elementor widgets: registration, login, checkout, thank you page, Member Portal, Membership selection, popups, logout, password reset, public profile and a content locker. Drag them onto any page. See Use the Elementor widgets.
To show or hide any Elementor widget, section or container by Membership, use the Elementor Widget Lock add-on.
Block editor (Gutenberg) and block themes
The same 12 parts are available as blocks in the WordPress block editor, with a content locker block for members-only sections. See Use the block editor (Gutenberg) blocks.
Divi
Add forms and the Member Portal with a Code or Text module that holds the shortcode (list below). To show Divi sections, rows and columns only to some Memberships, use the Divi Content Locker add-on.
Beaver Builder, WPBakery, Bricks, Oxygen and other builders
Every builder has a module that runs WordPress shortcodes: Shortcode, Text, HTML or Code, depending on the builder. Put an Ultimate Membership Pro shortcode in it and the form or page appears in your design.
[ihc-register]
[ihc-login-form]
[ihc-select-level]
[ihc-checkout-page]
[ihc-thank-you-page]
[ihc-user-page]
[ihc-pass-reset]
[ihc-logout-link]
Every shortcode with its options is in the Shortcodes reference.
Members-only sections
Wrap the content you want to protect in the [ihc-hide-content] shortcode inside a shortcode module. This example shows a download link only to members of Membership 2:
Shortcode module
[ihc-hide-content ihc_mb_type="show" ihc_mb_who="2"]
<a href="/downloads/guide.pdf">Download the guide</a>
[/ihc-hide-content]
Use ihc_mb_who="reg" for every logged-in user, or several Membership IDs separated by commas, such as ihc_mb_who="2,5". More options are in Hide part of a page (Inside Locker).
Restrict a whole page built with any builder
The Locker box on the right of the page editor protects pages built with any builder. Open the page in the WordPress editor, set who may see it and choose what happens to everyone else. See Restrict your first page.
Visitors without access go to another page, such as your pricing page. This works with every builder and is the right choice for Bricks and Oxygen, which build the page from their own templates.
Visitors stay on the page and see your replacement message instead of the content. Use it with Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery and the block editor, which show their layouts in the page content area.
Test your pages
- Publish the page and clear your cache. See Set up cache plugins and host caching.
- Open it in a private window to see it as a visitor.
- Log in as a test member and open it again.
Admins see everything
While you are logged in as an administrator, every page and locked section is visible to you. Always test restrictions as a visitor or a test member.
Troubleshooting
Does Ultimate Membership Pro work with my page builder?
Yes. Elementor and the block editor have native widgets and blocks, Divi has the Divi Content Locker add-on, and every other builder can use the plugin’s shortcodes in its shortcode, text or code module.
How do I add the registration form in Bricks or Oxygen?
Add a Shortcode element and put [ihc-register] in it. The same works for the login form, pricing table, checkout and Member Portal.
How do I show a section only to members in Beaver Builder or WPBakery?
Put the content in a Text or Shortcode module and wrap it in [ihc-hide-content ihc_mb_type="show" ihc_mb_who="2"]...[/ihc-hide-content], with your Membership ID.
Which option should I pick in the Locker box for a Bricks or Oxygen page?
Choose Redirect the Page and send visitors to your pricing or login page.
Where do I find a Membership’s ID?
In Ultimate Membership Pro›Memberships, in the ID column of the list.
