New Account email/Welcome email Notification is not sent

There are two different welcome notifications from the register process that are sent to users:

  • New Account – when the user is able to login.
  • New Account Review Request – when the user is set by default to pending.

Based on your settings, especially in the Register Form section, make sure that you have the proper notification active.If your notifications are not sent at all, have a look at this article.
